Bruna B. Velasques, PhD, is a clinical psychologist trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy. She coordinates the Laboratory of Neurophysiology and Neuropsychology of Attention at UFRJ (LANNA-UFRJ). Her areas of interest include cognitive neuroscience, brain mapping, electroencephalography, mental health, cognitive rehabilitation, and neuropsychology.
Dra. Velasques was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, RJ. She completed her graduation and training in psychology at UFRJ and her master’s and doctorate in psychiatry and mental health, also at UFRJ. Velasques received a post-doctoral scholarship from PROPSAM-UFRJ.
Associate researcher at the Science for Education Network (CpE Network). Associated with the Society for Neuroscience and the Brazilian Society of Neurosciences and Behavior.
