So, you are interested in applying for one of our Master’s or Ph.D. program!
We are happy with your interest in our program and, welcome you.
1 – Choose one of our research projects described in our site
2 – Identify the Coordinator of the research project of your interest.
3 – Write a brief e-mail to the Coordinator identifying yourself, describing your RESUMÉ, and why you are interested in this research area.
4 – Wait for your potential Supervisor (Coordinator) to answer to your e-mail, accepting, denying, or inquiring further information.
5 – If you were accepted, your supervisor will ask you to fill some forms for the application process.
6 – Then the coordinator of PROPSAM will analyze your application and if you were approved you enter in the first step of our program called PROBATIONARY PHASE.
7 – During this probationary phase you and your future supervisor must develop a research project together. This project will be submitted for your acceptance in the postgraduation courses (Master’s or PhD).
8 – Another request for your final acceptance in our postgraduation program is the publication of a research paper based on you research project during the probationary phase and with the co-authorship with your supervisor. For the master’s program, the scientific journal must be indexed in Scielo, SCOPUS, ISI Web of Knowledge or PubMed/Medline. For the Ph.D. program, it must be indexed in ISI Web of Knowledge or PubMed/Medline.
9 – The candidate selection for both programs (Master and Ph.D.) occurs every 6 months (usually January and July).
10 – For being approved in this selection, the candidate must present the abovementioned published manuscript, a valid passport, a graduate certificate (Master) or Master certificate (Ph.D.). Candidates from non-English speaking countries must also being approved in an English proficiency test.
