It is a laboratory with a structure for basic and pre-clinical research. It collaborates with other laboratories at UFRJ, such as the Physiology of Breathing Laboratory of the Carlos Chagas Filho Institute of Biophysics and the Laboratory of Brain Mapping and Sensory-Motor Integration. These collaborations allow interdisciplinarity and the participation of several researchers and students from various undergraduate courses and PPGs.
