We are one of the Laboratories of the Institute of Psychiatry (IPUB) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Delete laboratory was founded on January 2013 by psychologist Dr. Anna Lucia Spear King and psychiatrist Dr. Antonio Egidio Nardi. Our multidisciplinary team is composed of health professionals, among others: psychologists, doctors, physiotherapists, digital media specialists, engineers… Master’s students, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral students of the Graduate Program at UFRJ or elsewhere. The Delete Laboratory is located in the CIPE-Antigo of IPUB/UFRJ where we provide medical, psychological, physical therapy and we carry out groups of Conscious Use of Technologies for excessive users and/or dependent on technologies. Target Audience: we receive excessive users and/or dependent users of the computer, internet, social networks, mobile phone, games, among other technologies in daily life for evaluation and care. When are you looking for us? When the excessive, daily and for many hours use of any technology begins to compromise or interfere in the personal, social, family, academic or professional life bringing damage to the quality of life of the subject. We are also a Research Line of IPUB /UFRJ in the area of Digital Dependency and related topics where graduate students can propose and develop their Master’s and Doctorate projects. We also aim at the production of scientific knowledge (Articles and Books).
