At the Laboratório de Pânico e Respiração (LABPR), we study the pathophysiology, clinic and treatment of Panic Disorder and its comorbidities. The laboratory was created in 1997 by Prof. Antonio Egidio Nardi who coordinates it until the present day.

LABPR’s mission is to drive fundamental discoveries about anxiety disorders and guide the next generation of scientific leaders in an inspiring and collaborative training environment. For this, we carry out cutting edge research in the area of virtual reality, biomarkers, genetics, cognitive behavioral therapy, among others. We have an infrastructure composed of virtual reality simulators, electroencephalogram devices, Eye Track, neuropsychological testing. In addition, in our research projects, we have entered into several partnerships with national and international universities.
